Join me on the mat for this yummy 30 min yin yoga practice that provides a deep stretch, slow-moving meditation. The longer holds of Yin yoga (3-5 minutes) provide an opportunity for you to journey inward. So, let’s take this time to disconnect from any thoughts from the day, any to-do’s or stressors and allow your body and your mind to completely quiet and soften. This will help you to bring full awareness into the present moment while we deepen your connection to your body. As we practice, try to mindfully observe your body and emotions without judgement, accept your body & fully embody your emotions exactly as they are.
This practice can 100% be completed without any props but in an effort to meet your body where it is at and allow your body to get the most out of each pose, go ahead and have them handy. Using a Yoga bolsters or pillows, yoga blocks or 2 stacks of heavy books, blanket. If you are just getting started with props and not sure where to begin, below you will find a list of my props with links. These are great cost-effective props for anyone getting started.
