30 Day Front Splits Journey
I invite you to enter this 30 day challenge with the mindset of the goal not being the end destination of moving into the full front splits, but it being all about the journey that you will walk through with your body, understanding it better, tuning in and listening to it, feeling it evolve over the 30 days. If you allow this to be your intention you will walk away not only with increased flexibility and range of motion, but also better able to manage your stress level, and release tension to feel better overall. So, even if we can’t reach Full Splits pose quite yet, you will receive amazing benefits to your overall health and wellbeing.
Be kind to your body and yourself, and you will achieve the Full Splits of your body’s variation!

CONTRAINDICATIONS
If you are experiencing one or more of the follow contraindications from the list, I would like for you to talk with your doctor before getting started:
- Recovering from any injury of the joints of the tailbone, hips, pelvis,pelvic floor, knees, ankles, hamstring
- Sciatica
- Herniated disc or back injury
- Balance issues
- Pregnant women should avoid this practice, since it puts pressure to the groin, pelvis, and abdomen.
LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

YOGA PROPS
- yoga blocks
- yoga strap (belt or tie will do the trick too)
- props needed to help support and ease you into full front splits (I use the yoga blocks as well as a big pink circular bolster pictured in the trailer thumbnail)
- the long rectangular bolster is a nice to have on days we do deep hamstring stretches (a rolled up blanket will do the trick too)
Helpful considerations to support you sliding into the splits pose:
- lotion on your heels
- extra long yoga pants sliding them around your heel
- using a hard, slick surface with socks on your feet
